UFC Vegas 19 Odds and Results Post-Show: Blaydes vs Lewis

UFC Vegas 19 Results and Odds: UFC Vegas 19 takes place on Saturday, February 20th from the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The event is headlined by a UFC Heavyweight bout between Curtis ‘Rayzor’ Blaydes, as he takes on ‘the Black Beast’ Derrick Lewis.

The lead-up to UFC Vegas 19 was marred with weight cut and covid-19 issues, which resulted in two fights being canceled, and three fights being downgraded to ‘catchweight’ bouts. Rafael Alves missed weight by a record of 11lbs for his featherweight bout vs Pat Sabatini, which was scrapped due to the weight differential. Beyond that, Ketlen Vieira, Jared Gordon, and Drako Rodriguez all missed weight, with Vieira forfeiting 20% of her win purse, while Gordon and Rodriguez were both forced to forfeit 30%.

The final card cancellation came just a few hours before the event started, as the bout between Luis Pena and Drakkar Klose was pulled from the card, due to a cornerman from Klose’s team testing positive for covid-19.

Coming into tonight, the ‘Fight Goes the Distance’ prop has been the hottest trend to back in 2021, with 34 of the first 57 bouts going the distance, profiting for +10.26 units along the way. While the ‘Over’ has cashed at a 70.2% rate coming into tonight, going 40-17 for +9.54 units profit.

Derrick Lewis def. Curtis Blaydes

Derrick Lewis defeats Curtis Blaydes via 2nd round KO. Lewis cashes as the heavy +350 underdog, while cashing at +500 on the ‘T/KO’ prop and +450 on the inside the distance prop. With the victory, Derrick Lewis improves to 16-5 in his UFC career, profiting for +11.37 units on the moneyline, dating back to his UFC debut in 2014.

Yana Kunitskaya def. Ketlen Vieira

Yana Kunitskaya cashes as the long shot +250 underdog in the co-main event. Kunitskaya picked up the decision by stealing the third round from Vieira with a wild ground and pound onslaught in the final minute of the fight. With the victory, counting the Invicta FC victory that was overturned after the fact, Kunitskaya has now gone 5-3 in her last 8 fights, profiting +8 units profit between Invicta and UFC.

Darrick Minner def. Charles Rosa

Darrick Minner picks up the dominating decision victory as a +185 underdog. It is the 47th UFC Men’s Featherweight bout to go ‘Over’ the betting total, improving to 47-18 for +16.15 units profit. With the victory, Minner improves to 2-2 under the UFC banner, profiting for +2.41 units on the moneyline in his career.

Chris Daukaus def. Aleksei Oleinik

Chris Daukaus picks up the stoppage victory over Alexei Oleinik. It was chalk all the way across the board, with Daukaus cashing at -190 on the moneyline, -120 on the T/KO prop,-137 on the Inside the Distance prop, the Under cashed at -160, while the ‘Fight Goes the Distance: No’ prop cashes at a steep -550.

Phil Hawes def. Nassourdine Imavov

Phil Hawes defeats Nass Imavov by decision in a very entertaining fight. With the victory, the favorite in the UFC Middleweight division improves to 38-17 for +1.69 units since January of last year.

Tom Aspinall def. Andrei Arlovski

Tom Aspinall picks up the submission victory against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski via 2nd round rear-naked choke submission.

Jared Gordon def. Danny Chavez

Jared Gordon defeats Danny Chavez by a three-round decision in an entertaining fight that was closer than the judge’s score cards would have indicated. With the victory, Gordon has 4 wins in the UFC by decision, profiting +3.09 units on the ‘to Win by Decision’ prop in his UFC career.

John Castañeda def. Eddie Wineland

John Castañeda picks up the 1st round T/KO victory over Eddie Wineland, cashing as the -108 ‘coin flip’ favorite. With the stoppage victory, the ‘Under’ in the UFC Men’s Bantamweight division has now gone 31-26 for +16 units profit since January of 2020.

Aiemann Zahabi picks up the KO victory in the first round over Drako Rodriguez, cashing as a heavy +225 underdog. Plus money all across the board as Zahabi cashes at +1250 on the T/KO prop, +550 on the Inside the Distance prop, the Under 2.5 rounds prop cashes at +163, and the ‘Fight Goes the Distance: No’ prop cashes at +140.

Sergey Spivak def. Jared Vanderaa

Sergey Spivak picks up the victory over Jared Vanderra as a -247 favorite, winning the fight by 2nd round ground and pound T/KO.
