Jazz vs Warriors Pick: Sunday, March 14th
Jazz vs Warriors Pick: Sunday, March 14th: The Jazz went 1-3 on a tough four-game road trip before the all-star break. They lost at Miami, defeated Orlando, then lost at New Orleans and in overtime at Philadelphia. They play tonight at home against a severely understaffed Houston Rockets squad before getting Saturday off to travel to San Francisco for a meeting Sunday at the Warriors. The league leaders are two games up on the Suns and three up on the Sixers for the league’s best record. They have six players averaging double figures, led by Donovan Mitchell’s 24.7, and they are deadly from the perimeter, hitting 39.8% of their three and hitting 17.1 of them a game.
The Warriors lost three straight games, all on the road before the break, losing at the Lakers, Blazers, and Suns. They returned on Thursday night in a disastrous performance at the Staples Center in a 130-104 loss. Curry dealt with the dreaded All-Star Game hangover and went 6/16 from the field and 1/8 from 3 for just 14p. The Warriors were down 104-68 going into the 4th quarter. They are a healthy squad. Curry has been excellent. Wiggins has been a disappointment averaging 16.9ppg, Kelly Oubre is averaging 15.4ppg and is hitting just 31.8% from 3. James Wiseman has looked good at times and is averaging 11.9p 6r in his rookie season. They have Friday and Saturday off before playing the Jazz on Sunday.
