Texas AM vs South Carolina Pick: College Football Week 10
Texas AM vs South Carolina Pick – College Football Week 10: One way or another, Texas A&M seems to make an annual trip to one Columbia or another. This year, the trek is to the Columbia in South Carolina where the Gamecocks aim to end their futility against the Aggies.
Texas A&M has owned the rivalry, winning all six games that have been played since the Aggies joined the Southeastern Conference. The NCAA football odds suggest the domination will continue for the Maroon & White. Bet365 is listing the Aggies -10, that spread up a couple of points since the opener, the scoreboard target also on the rise and currently at 58½.
Texas A&M vs South Carolina: Match-Up and Betting Trends
Following an off week, Texas A&M scored a 42-31 win at home over Arkansas on Halloween, the Aggies losing the 2-TD cover in the closing minute when the Razorbacks scored a late touchdown. Jimbo Fisher’s defense yielded more than twice the usual number of yards on the ground, but Kellen Mond helped make up for that with a strong performance throwing the football, completing 21-of-26 for 260 yards and three scores.
Will Muschamp’s Gamecocks had Halloween off following a 52-24 beating at LSU the week before. The South Carolina defense was on the field a long time in Baton Rouge that evening, and the Tigers pretty much decided matters with an interception return for a touchdown late in the second quarter, and 93-yard kickoff return early in the third. The setback came as 4½-point road underdogs, stopping a string of 3-straight covers for the Gamecocks.
Texas A&M vs South Carolina Pick
We should see about 16,000 fans inside Williams-Brice Stadium for the 7 p.m. (ET) boot, ESPN providing the pictures for the television audience. Texas A&M has covered two of its previous three trips to South Carolina, and Mond should be able to put 30+ up for the Aggies in this one. And yet, I’m just not able to pull the trigger and lay 10 on A&M in the matchup. There are more likeable trends to follow on the ‘under’ with my free college football pick, especially with the total inching up since first being sent out.
