Canucks vs Leafs Pick: Saturday February 6th
Canucks vs Leafs Pick: Saturday February 6th: The Canucks are coming off an ugly 7-3 loss to these Leafs on Wednesday night in Toronto. They gave Thatcher Demo the chance to take the reigns and be the #1 goalie, and he played terribly. The team in front of him didn’t help. This why they signed Braden Holtby. To be that stabilizing veteran netminder. This team needs one badly right now. I was not too fond of his signing, but it would be huge for this team if he can hold down the fort here. They were outshot 37-19 And even had a rare loss in the face-off circle 32-25. The defense looks awful, and it’s not just because Travis Hamonic is out. It’s because Nate Schmidt has not looked good since he got popped for PED’s back in 2018.
Tyler Myers was a terrible signing, and you have to give Quinn Hughes the future of this team someone better to play with than Jordie Benn. With all that being said, I still believe this team is capable of righting the ship, and they sure as hell better come out fast and hard against these Leafs, or Travis Green will be fired, and then Jim Benning. And Jim Benning should be fired for drafting Oil Juolevi ahead of Mathew Tkachuk, amongst other shit moves. I will never forgive him for that.
〉NHL Predictions: Super Saturday Hockey Bets
The Leafs have to be feeling good about themselves, and regardless of their 8-2-1 record, their defense is weak, and that will always leave them vulnerable at times. I’m not saying back the Canucks full game, but I will back the Canucks 1st period expecting a statement. If you are betting anything to do with the Canucks wait. Wait until as close to puck drop as you can. The money will pour in on the Leafs, and for a good reason. The Canucks look awful, and the NHL futures odds have already moved the Canucks to as high as 30-1.

Vancouver come into tonight’s game on a three-game losing streak, and currently on the outside of the playoff picture, sitting in 5th place of the North division. The Canucks are 5-5 in their last 10 games, and have put up 3.9 goals per game, while allowing the exact total against, to give them a +0 goal differential in that stretch.
The Leafs sit 1st in the North Division with 17 points and are already beginning to distance between themselves from any chance of this team not making the playoffs. Toronto are 7-3 in their last 10 games, and have outscored their opponents by an average of +0.7 goals per game, for a +7 goal differential.
