There are six games on tap in the NHL on Wednesday, with the Pittsburgh Penguins finding themselves as the biggest betting favorite on the card. The Penguins are -265 favorites against the Buffalo Sabres, are coming off of a 2-1 OT loss to the New Jersey Devils. The Penguins are one of the best teams to back over the last two seasons when coming off of a loss, and even with the steep price, there may be value on the Penguins in this spot against the lowly Sabres.
Wednesday NBA Betting
Eleven games on tap for Wednesday’s NBA betting card. The biggest favorite on the card so far being the Dallas Mavericks, who opened as -8 point favorites on the road against the 10-33 Minnesota Timberwolves. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls opened as a -6 point favorite at home to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls are coming off of a 120-95 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday, and are one of the best ATS teams to back when coming off of a loss.
March Madness: Sweet Sixteen Look Ahead
The stage is set for the final 16 teams in division-1 basketball to meet again this weekend in central Indiana for the second week of the March Madness tournament. Underdogs have red hot this year in the NCAA tournament, going 19-32 for +10.3 units on the money. The Sweet Sixteen has historically been trending towards the underdog as of late, cashing at a 63% rate in the third round of the tournament, dating back to 2017.
